The hopes with the Pakistan Super League being held fully in Pakistan were high as ever when we got to hear about it from Pakistan's PM, Imran Khan.
Now, it's finally going to happen. Ehsan Mani today has announced that the whole 5th season of PSL will be hosted by Pakistan in four different cities, Multan, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi.
Lahore's Gaddafi stadium is upfront and is ready to host 14 matches this year including the final. Karachi will host nine, Rawalpindi will be up for eight and Multan will be having three of its matches as home games.
Ehsan Mani didn't have any doubts about PSL happening wholly in Pakistan as he said, "I never had any doubts it was Pakistan's league and should be played in front of home crowds. We had made this commitment to the people of Pakistan at the end of last year's event and I am pleased today we have announced the event schedule with four centres to share the 34 event matches between them."
The concept of teams getting their home and away matches will be in action for the first time in Pakistan Super League and it's a sign of good things to come.
The tournament will start on February 20th and will have it's final on March 22nd in Gaddaffi Stadium Lahore.
